TEAM JOB DESCRIPTIONS

            Children’s Activity Team

This team organizes activities that involve the children and will help them gain an awareness and understanding of stewardship (e.g., Poster Festival, Bible lesson, giving activities). 

 

Contact Team

This team is responsible for calling every home and receiving a confirmation for

            the home information meetings.

Coordinator(s)

This team is the primary administrator for the campaign.  This team coordinates all the Leadership Team meetings, schedules, and campaign mailings.

 

Enlistment Team

This team is responsible for collecting, tracking, and reporting the personal involvement of individuals in the campaign.

 

Follow-Up Team

The team is responsible for tracking and recording commitments and contributions made by the congregation throughout the three year giving period.  They also encourage people to continue their contributions during this period.  A plan for including new church members is part of their responsibility as well.  This team will count the First Fruits.

 

Home Hosts Team

This team is to support the home hosts for the home informational meetings.  The home informational meetings are extremely important to get information to the church in a small setting.  There will be twelve home meetings during the campaign.

 

Hospitality Team

 

This team calls every household to encourage attendance and receive responses for the

Leadership Commitment Banquet and Commitment Sunday.  This team also serves as Hosts and Hostesses at the Leadership Commitment Banquet (March 5th), Commitment/First Fruits Sunday (March 29th) and Celebration Sunday (April 5th).

 

Information Team

This team manages the distribution of the spiritual and informational components of the Campaign.

 

Prayer Team

This team prays throughout the campaign for God’s people to be connected to God’s will in the campaign process.  Authentic expressions of prayer for the church as it relates to the campaign are led by this team.  This team is responsible for the Devotion Booklet and Special Prayer Service.

 

Print Communications Team

                This team is in charge of identifying and/or developing all the printed informational and Promotional materials that are needed to conduct a successful campaign.

 

Response Team

This team is responsible for receiving commitments from those who plan to make a commitment, but were unable to turn in their cards on Commitment Sunday.

 

Special Event Team

This team makes preparations for the Special Events.  These event are very important because they draw the most people together at one time and asks them to participate in the Capital Campaign.  This includes the Leadership Commitment Banquet (March 5th) and Commitment/First Fruits Sunday (March 29th).

 

Student Activity Teams

These teams organize events for the middle school and high school ministries to get in-volved, learn about and participate in the stewardship process.  This will include fund raisers, contests, Bible lesson and youth commitment Sunday.

 

Visual Communications Team

This team will oversee production of video(s) for the campaign, particularly for the

            Information Phase and dramas.
